It's Thanksgiving – the day humans eat massive amounts of food and then give thanks for things like elastic waistbands. So in keeping with the tradition, I've made a list of things I'm thankful for:

Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pies
My BFF, Story
Bravo's soft brown eyes
All of the humans who keep my stall nice and clean and my water bucket filled up
My farrier, Mike, who gives me nice mani/pedis and lots of horse treats
The end of fly season
The first sweet grass of spring
Amelia, who gives me carrots sometimes
My human, who brought me to Belezaire so I could meet Story and Bravo

Happy Thanksgiving, humans! Don't eat too much because even if your waistband is forgiving, your horse will know if you ate with gusto!

OK, now I've seen it all. You've got to check out this cattle roundup. Who would have thought that was even possible? Not only is she putting horses out of a job, she gets pizza and Dr. Pepper after. I'm not sure what pizza is, but I think I would like it. Note to self: tell Human I want some pizza. I'll pass on the Dr. Pepper, though, sounds like it might involve a shot if a doctor is around.

Anyway, we've been talking around the barn and we think the horse union might need to get involved. Horses work cattle, not ... well, see for yourself.

I'm grumpy today. First off, I didn't get my rest last night because of a party out here. There were little kids running around and playing games and they were making all sorts of noise. Then my human was next to my stall telling fotunes and she had scented candles and incense burning so my barn didn't smell like my barn should. Plus it made my nose tickle. My nasal passages are delicate, you see.

I heard through the horsevine that there was a haunted arena and a hay maze on the other side of the farm that the kids were going through and they were screaming and carrying on, so the horses in the back barn couldn't rest, either. If you think I'm grumpy, don't talk to Stormy today!

And then to add manure to the pile, the humans were late this morning. They tried to explain it away by saying Daylight Savings Time is over, but I don't believe them. My stomach knows when it's breakfast time and the humans were not feeding me when my tummy alarm was going off. I was so angry that I almost wasn't able to eat my grain. Luckily I'm adaptable, so I managed to choke it down.
